My daughter is going through some difficult times and her counselor is wanting to perform the Connor’s behavioral rating scale tests on her. Anyone familiar with this test. I know its for ADHD but unsure if it is for anything else.
the Conners is just a general tool for you to rate your child’s behavior at home. The teacher also fills out the rating scale and the school psych. compares the two. You should be as honest as possible when filling out this behavior rating scale, because a lot of useful information is obtained. For instance, maybe the child and teacher have conflict, maybe you have a better structure at home, etc. you already know your child has ADHD. The school wants to provide the best possible environment to help your child be successful! And this rating scale is just a basic evaluation of your child’s needs.

2008 Nov 28 1It’s used for ADD or ADHD. There are three: one for parents, one for the teacher/counselor, and one for the child.
You’ll be asked to answer questions about your daughter’s behavior, usually in a multiple choice format. The length of the test varies, depending on whether or not you are taking the long or short version.
I hope everything turns out for the best.
