ADHD and ADD, just another way to drug our children and SOME adults? *lol* are doctors going crazy? or what?

Just saying, I have adhd, and i never take pills. I heard this lady talking to her son.

Mother: "you are being VERY obnoxious today! HAve you taken your adhd pills?"

Son: "No, but mom! i dont need em! they make me dizzy…"

Mother : "Well too bad, if you dont take them, you will run into the street and die."

Son: *shuts up*

I wanna put HER on medication! I mean, people with ADD or ADHD even SEVERELY, dont need pills. They said if i didnt take my pills, I’d probably go insane. i was like wtf?

Are doctors going insane? and why would they wanna just perscribe us drugs we dont need!?
yes i DO have severe adhd, and ocd, and im bi polar.

LOL, I’m sorry; I know ur being serious, and you have a REALLY good point, but I love the way you explain stuff!

and I’m not trying to be judgemental but, people with ADD or ADHD are almost always the most fun!

    I believe that it’s not really the Dr.’s fault. I believe it’s more of the school or the parents fault- depending on the situation. Some people do need it to concentrate and focus. It’s great if you can live without it. I live without medication and I have minor Add, bi-polar, ocd and some other things, but I do not take medicine.

    i can’t say anything about the ADHD and you should’ve slapped the shit outta that woman but for the ADD my sister needs it cuz she can now pay attention in school and doesn’t get overwhelmed with her school work, homework , passing her classes but thats just my experience with it

    I think it’s stupid, a lot of kids don’t need medication. Doctors only use ADD & ADHD as an excuse for more money.

    i have add and ive never taken pills for it! but then again ive never been perscribed any… i just have a short attention span… mines not severe…

    Some people with ADHD do need medication. I have ADHD and I need medication, without medication I would have no job.
