My Girlfriend has Anorexia, Cutting, Bipolar, ADHD issues and she needs and wants help. Her parents hate her, and shes only 14 I want to help her so if anyone knows how post it here!! YOU could save a life!!
"Her parents hate her" her dad left her mom and her mom doesnt want her a daughter.
Im also 14..
First of all, its really sweet that you care this much about your girlfriend. Now, you may not want to hear this, but you really need to get her to a christian doctor or counsler.
GET TO THE BOTTOM OF WHY SHE DOES THESE THINGS.
If you won't do that; Let her know how much you care about her.
Anorexia- tell her she is beautiful the way she is and you don't want her any skinnier.
Cutting- Tell her you care so much about her health and you don't want to to harm herself, she doesn't need to.
Bipolar- There isn't much you can do about that, but don't anger her.
Be with her as often as possible. PRAY. Distract her with other things. Don't have sex, it just makes emotions worse.
Please email me for further information.

2009 Apr 28 5It sounds like she has Borderline Personality Disorder. You can find lots of information on Google about it. it is very serious, and can lead to suicidal thoughts. What do you mean when you say her parents hate her? If they happen to be not so good parents, you might say something to YOUR parents. I have seen some folks come from terrible homes, and turn out okay. it's few and far between, but it happens. I know you care about her, and I am not suggesting you leave her because it sounds like you are being a good friend by showing concern for her, but try as best as you can not to get too involved in this situation. This is very serious, and at such a young age, it is a lot for someone to handle. Get her some help immediately, and take care of yourself, too. I am not a professional, so do not take my word for it.

2009 Apr 28 6get her to go to the hospital
every hospital has a psychiatric unit that would give her medication for her mental illnesses and conditions
and they will probably get her a psychologist too to help with her deeper emotional problems.

2009 Apr 28 8Have you tried talking to her? If so, try again! Find out why she's doing this stuff! Maybe it is her parents or something. Maybe it's her friends, maybe you might have said something to her that made her upset, girls are sensitive!

2009 Apr 28 9Thank you for being so caring and mature as to step up when someone is in need. You're awesome.
You need to help your girlfriend get to a DR. or counselor…preferably a DOCTOR first, and then he/she would be able to get her into a program and possibly some Rx to alleviate the OCD tendencies. She is hurting and confused inside. You need to be strong and stay there for her no matter how hard it becomes or how difficult it may be. She needs an anchor to keep her grounded, and it sounds as if you are the only one there who is doing that.
As for "parents hating her", I feel this needs to be addressed as well. As a parent myself, I can NOT imagine ever abandoning a child or hating them, but I understand it is a reality in some circumstances. Are you able to speak to the parents as a neutral, concerned party or have one of your parents intervene? Your girlfriend may need their consent to have her helped within the confines of a medical facility or if they have insurance, etc… If this is an improbability, and it is indeed true that they are neglecting their daughter, they should be reported to social services as negligent parents who have put their daughter in imminent danger.
God Bless you and your girlfriend. May you both find help, open arms of comfort, and the strength to carry you both through.
