Please tell me you can help me. My sons meds cost 2400 month for abilify, strattera, tenex, lithium.
Not only am i tired of him being on them i’m tired of paying for them but without them he doesn’t function well and with them he can at least get thru life. PLease Help ME

Wow, that’s untold.

Look at a good quality Salmon Oil (preferably organic), reduce as much junk food as you can (not all at once, otherwise you’ll possibly put his body into mild shock and it’ll rebel); plenty of fresh fruit and veges. Make sure he is eating every 2 - 3 hours; small meals; no artificial stimulants.

Then… get him onto a Journey Practitioner to find the source of his ‘dis-ease’.

Can’t you get some sort of insurance or financial aid for his medications?

If he doesn’t function without them then he really does need them. Asking him to live without them would be like asking a diabetic to live without insulin.

If he goes off his meds he is more likely to have a manic episode. Ask your Doctor if there is medicines of the same quality but cheaper.

Find out through your doctor if your son qualifies for some sort of State aid…and if he can get a generic brand of the meds (if he’s not already.)

I don’t know what else to tell you. My hubby’s grandson is ADHD and is on meds but his dad & step-dad’s insurance covers all of them. The doctor keeps telling the parents that the son will outgrow it… I’ve never heard of that but maybe there’s hope for him. My hubby is ADHD and not on meds…it’s a daily nightmare.
