He goes to my high school and he said he’s been diagnosed by a professional. He also said he sometimes hallucinates sometime after he told me he sees ghosts.
I knew something was wrong with him, and that’s why I was interested in getting to know him.
I was really surprised when he said bipolar disorder, though, because I’ve never seen him unhappy.
There is this one person I know that was like that. He often had major mood swings felt angry and very depressed but sometimes would feel very happy and overjoyed. He had a lot of energy. Especially when he was really happy he had a lot of energy and often wouldn’t calm down. He often had a hard time paying attention in class. His thoughts would wander in class and often would have to catch him self to get back on track. It was difficult to do that. Also he had trouble understanding what as being told to him sometimes. This would make him frustrated because he would struggle in school. he also had a hard time making friends because a person with Asperger’s has a hard time socializing. he would do his best to try to fit in but had trouble. This was another struggle for him. These struggles make him not feel good about him self and often made him feel really depressed at times at the point where he hated almost everyone. Sometimes he would feel hopeless about everything but then would eventually get him self to a positive optimistic state when something would change that would make him feel happy. This person was always hyper. He had wierd interests and sometimes these wierd interests made it hard for him to fit in socially.

Sleep & 14 yr old with bipolar & ADHD?
05 Nov 2009
I have a 14 yr old boy who is bipolar & ADHD. He takes Meds at night to help him sleep and be able to calm down from the days activites and what not. He is having problems staying asleep throughout the night. He wakes up early in the mornings and can’t go back to sleep for awhile. He does eventually fall back to sleep but then when its time to get him up for school its extremely hard to get him awake. What are some suggestins for helping him relax before bed so he can sleep and ways to help him wake in the mornings?
bipolar is like that. the meds will always make it hard for him to wake up. getting up at the same time everyday no matter what will help him to learn how to wake up. getting on your feet helps to get you up taking shower too but not real hot ones need to be as cool as he can take it. as far as going to sleep i can’t help much i’ only sleep 2 to 4hrs a day so i don’t know how to sleep my self. i will tell you that getting 8hrs of sleep was started by the drug com to sell sleeping pills. they have done lost of studies and found that there are a lot of people that only need 4 to 5 hours a night and do fine. try to find studies that aren’t done by drug comp. there should be a lot of info on the net.
