Because, some really benefit from it, and some need it just to be able to function. But many are put on it to control "unruly" behaivior which is caused by reasons other than their disorders, if parents and doctors could pay attention to symptoms and control carefully dosages then these medicines would be a lot more useful.<br><b>References : </b><br>I was on it for 3 years, and no it didn't help me that much. :) I would have to say yes and no.
