The Root of Hope - Ibogaine
19 Nov 2008
Could the answer to America’s drug problem lie in an African root? Supporters say Ibogaine can treat Oxycontin, Vicodin, alcohol and heroin addiction. Some former drug addicts swear by it. Others warn it’s too dangerous. In this Special Assignment investigation, CBS 2’s Laura Diaz explores the “Root Of Hope”.

yeah, shoptaw is a that knows nothing about addiction. he only knows how to make money by keeping the addicted hooked on country funded methadone. he’s the drug pusher. somebody should lock his up, but no, he’s a “doctor”. prince of pot, mark emery is a genius. makes sense that the government wants to lock his up. i hate being an american. i sware before i die i’m going to kick my xanax addiction and move out of this country

the good doctor with the tie is a governmental tool. this drug won’t be made legal in the u.s. because that would work against the war on drugs, and any informed citizen knows the government makes money on the importation, and then make it again in the privatized prison system. the government.

The so called hallucinations are minor. The cerebellar effects keep the client immobile on a bed in an extended waking dream. Nausea occurs frequently but not invariably. My impression is that the risks when managed are low, especially given the one time nature of this medication, especially compared with long term maintenance medications or with doing nothing.

After reviewing all the data and all the Ibogaine casualties, it has become apparent that all of the fatalities under Ibogaine were likely due to undiagnosed cardiac conditions. We screen using ECG and tapering off other meds that can possibly interact, we have round the clock medical attendants taking vital signs and ready with CPR and AED training. (I am writing from the Iboga Therapy House in Vancouver).

wow! you must be a retard. 1st off “no for reiterating the video” doesnt make any sence. did you mean “no thanks for reiterating the video”? cause that doesnt make any sence either. the lady might have said “shes done other things that could kill her” when asked about the dangers but the point is ibogain maybe dangerous but so arent other forms of treatment - methadone ect. thats the point. this is a 1 time treatment, theres no money 4 the govt. to make off that.
