Same ones that work for kids. (generic names) methylphenidate is Ritalin and Concerta; mixed amphetamine salts (Adderall or the XR type.) There is a belief that these things cause the "opposite effect" on kids. Not true. They simply help anyone focus in. If you're really scattered and you focus in, you seem more quiet, you can work better, etc. If you're not scattered and take one of these meds, you become overly focused - talking too much, possibly even becoming paranoid. Strattera, by the way, may work for a few people (it's an antidepressant, not a stimulant) but not very many. A lot of doctors start adults with Strattera but before too long, they're adding a stimulant. (I don't know why they often still keep the person on the Strattera…) Another good thing about the stimulants is that you'll know in a couple days if it's gonna work or not. Antidepressants take WAY longer.

Don't know much about medication, but I do know that ADHD adults respond to threats of fines and loss of income quite well! Makes you wonder, huh!

    Hi:

I take Adderal and have for years. It works just fine with me, never any problems.

    Be safe and be well
